My name is Tom Claffey. I am an internist with a sub-specialty in infectious diseases. I am the current president of InterMed and was involved in the founding of the group in 1994. I am the director of the Infectious Diseases Division at Maine Medical Center and am an Associate Clinical Professor of Medicine at Tufts University/MMC School of Medicine.
We have established a culture at InterMed of excellent patient service combined with clinical excellence and academic contributions. We enjoy what we do and we hope it shows.
My wife Peggy and I have three daughters and five grandchildren. We love our life in Maine and are grateful for the opportunity to live here.
