InterMed launches telehealth option for patients

. Posted in Health, Coronavirus

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, InterMed is offering telehealth appointments for its patients. This service will allow patients to speak with a provider via computer or smart device without leaving home.

Patients with a suspected case of COVID-19 can speak with a provider to determine if they should be seen in person at InterMed’s COVID-19 Clinic. Telehealth visits may also be used for other medical needs, including discussions about chronic conditions, behavioral health, allergies, rashes, osteoporosis, menopause, and more.

“While the coronavirus is foremost in everyone’s mind, it’s important that we remain available to care for patients with other needs,” said InterMed CEO Dan McCormack. “Telehealth allows us to see patients for certain conditions while allowing them to stay home and practice social distancing.”

Telehealth visits are for InterMed patients by appointment only.
