Angela McBane, FNP-BC

Nurse Practitioner

My name is Angela Temm McBane. I was raised in Scarborough by parents who were also raised in Scarborough. I am a Mainer at heart! I graduated from the University of New England and later from St. Joseph’s College with my bachelor of science in nursing and then my master of science in nursing with my family nurse practitioner certificate.

I have been working in nursing for more than 25 years, with experience in intensive care, cardiology and diabetes. For the past five years, I have worked at InterMed with our Diabetes Team as the certified diabetes educator. My subspecialty is working with and training people to use insulin pumps, continuous glucose monitoring and hybrid closed loop technology. I enjoy the variety of internal medicine and the challenge of advanced diabetes management. I am passionate about empowering people to make healthy choices to achieve their highest quality of life while living with chronic disease. I am excited to expand the care I provide to people in internal medicine and am so glad to be able to do so here at InterMed!

My husband and I feel fortunate to have built our home on the farmland where my father was raised. We love being able to raise our own daughter in this beautiful spot! I love to spend time outside, read, explore and travel.
