Elianna Lantz, LCSW
My name is Elianna Lantz and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.
I am delighted to be offering behavioral health services to patients here at InterMed. I am very excited to join a team that treats the whole individual rather than keeping physical and behavioral health concerns separate. As a team we can collaborate and keep patients at ease by caring for them in an integrated setting that recognizes the inter-relatedness of mind and body. It is truly a privilege to join this team.
I grew up in Portland, Maine and am glad to be starting a family of my own here. I studied Psychology at Elon University in North Carolina before earning my Master’s in Clinical Social Work in 2014 at New York University. Since graduating I have worked in a variety of settings, both inpatient and outpatient. These include a day treatment school, a youth detention center, a substance use and eating disorder treatment facility and a public high school. I believe in meeting patients where they are by providing a safe, non-judgmental space to support them in developing ways to create positive changes that will improve their quality of life.
When I am not at work, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I have two large lovable dogs that love to swim and a cat. I love summer, being outside when it is warm, going out to eat and traveling.
