Jessica Clark, PT
My name is Jessica Clark and I’m a physical therapist at our Foden Road Physical Therapy location. I am originally from western Massachusetts. I moved only north and west from the time I graduated high school, until I decided to go to Physical Therapy school and being closer to my partner, which brought me to Asheville, North Carolina.
After 13 years in North Carolina, I moved to South Portland, bringing my husband, two young children, a few “y’all’s that stuck with me. We settled into a great neighborhood with roaming kids and beautiful sunsets. We have added a dog and two fish to the family roster so far.
This move brings me closer to family and to my old love of the Maine coast. I stay busy with my husband, two young kids whose energy and enthusiasm are boggling, and our dog who is a chronic sun bather and napper to balance them out. We go play outside as much as we can. I love to bake, read, walk, hike, and cross country ski.
I have worked as a physical therapist since 2006, and have specialized to women’s health and pelvic physical therapy since 2015. I enjoy this work, and find that I can make meaningful changes in an individual’s quality of life through assessing them as a whole, looking at musculoskeletal dysfunctions as well has physiologic and behavior contributors.
I feel fortunate that I found my career, and love helping people reach their goals and maximize their quality of life.
