Jessica Johnson, FNP-C

Nurse Practitioner

My name is Jessica Johnson. I was born and raised in Southern Maine and am happy to be able to serve this community as a board-certified family nurse practitioner. I am proud to be working in the Internal Medicine department of InterMed. I received my nursing degree at Stony Brook University in New York. After graduating, I moved to Boston where I worked at Massachusetts General Hospital for seven years. I spent three of those years as a nurse in the Cardiac Arrhythmia Step-Down Unit and the next four years in the Medical Intensive Care Unit. During that time, I completed my master’s degree as a family nurse practitioner at Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences.

My husband and I recently moved back to Maine and I am excited to start my nurse practitioner career in my home state. I feel passionate about preventing disease through living healthy lifestyles and I look forward to providing high-quality primary care to the people of Southern Maine. In my free time, I enjoy going on hikes with my two dogs, being by the ocean, renovating our house and reading a good book.
