Molly Fox, LCSW, CCS
I am Molly Fox, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.
I have been working in social services since 2008 and earned my master’s degree in social work from Hunter College’s Silberman School of Social Work in New York City. My passion stems from a core belief that therapy helps shed light on an individual’s values. My goal is to help individuals create meaning in their lives and move towards a state of balance.
I began my career in New York City working in family reunification for women leaving prison looking to reunite with their children. Since then, I have worked in various non-profit settings providing individual, couples and family therapy while also supervising clinicians. I have been grateful to work in various settings serving New Mainers in trauma recovery programs and survivors of intimate partner violence. I am passionate about working with LGBTQIA+ individuals and have extensive experience in the treatment of mental health and substance use disorders. I have been told I have a grounded, open demeanor and am immensely curious. I aim to be gentle while transparent in my approach to treatment and feel genuinely honored to share in individuals healing process.
When I’m not at work, I enjoy playing music, art, philosophy, writing, and dancing with my 3 year old daughter!
