Nina Trowbridge, MD
My name is Nina Trowbridge. I grew up in Boston, Massachusetts. I was surrounded as a child with wonderful role models, a grandfather, an uncle, and a great aunt, all of whom were doctors. I majored in English at Harvard but also pursued pre-med classes in college, as I knew that a life working in medicine would be fascinating and rewarding. I attended medical school at Columbia University in New York and then did residency training in internal medicine at Stanford University Medical Center in Palo Alto, California. I also completed a master’s in public health at University of California at Berkeley the year after finishing residency. Following this, I worked in an internal medicine practice for five years in San Francisco, which was associated with the California Pacific Medical Center, and which included teaching and supervision of the internal medicine residents in the hospital.
I have now been at InterMed for ten years. I feel fortunate to be a part of this group of excellent physicians, to work in a challenging and supportive atmosphere with a wonderful staff, and most importantly, to have gotten to know the many remarkable people who are my patients!
