Peter Gordon, MD

Internist

I was raised in Maryland and attended Oberlin College and Case Western Reserve School of Medicine. I moved to Portland in 1985, with my wife Libby, to train in internal medicine at Maine Medical Center. We had the pleasure of raising three children in the Portland area and hope they will return to live here some day.

I am a founding member of InterMed and have served on the Board of Directors for many years. I enjoy the challenges of corporate strategic planning and development. I am proud of InterMed’s focus on high quality, patient-focused, accessible medical care.

I have been involved in the academic mission of Maine Medical Center since 1988, teaching medical residents, medical students and PA students at the hospital and in the outpatient office setting.

My hobbies take me outdoors. I enjoy cycling, running, skiing, golf, tennis, boating and fishing.
