Sandy Stevens, MD

Urgent Care Physician

My name is Sandy Stevens, and I am an emergency physician. I have been practicing in rural emergency departments in Maine for the past 13 years. I live with my husband and children in Yarmouth.

I attended college at the University of Richmond, where I earned my B.A. in psychology, and then completed medical school at the University of Maryland School of Medicine in 2001. My residency training was done at Maine Medical Center.

Working in the urgent care clinic allows me to care for patients of all ages and with every type of medical concern. This variety in my practice is what drew me to emergency medicine, and I am excited to be a part of an organization that provides such excellent care for its patients, and that also strikes a good work-life balance.
