My journey in medicine started as a registered nurse. After working for seven years in various places, including Massachusetts General Hospital, I realized my passion for medicine and went back to medical school. I graduated from the University of Mississippi Medical Center where I then completed an internal medicine residency and chief medicine year.

My passion for medicine lives on in caring for people and helping them lead healthier and happier lives. I have a special interest in weight management and am board-certified in obesity medicine.

After training, my family and I ventured in a roundabout way to Maine. I have lived here ever since and love it! I live in Denmark, Maine, in a 160-year-old farmhouse with two beautiful teenage children, three dogs and six chickens!
