Tarja Berry, Au.D.

My name is Tarja Berry. I was born and raised in Colorado. Shortly after graduating from the University of Colorado in Boulder, I made the move out east to be closer to family and to complete my graduate work. I received my Doctorate of Audiology from Northeastern University, and could not wait to get out of the city and back to a place that felt more like home. Luckily I found that here in Maine!

I completed my externship year at Boston Children’s Hospital where I was also a fellow of the Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and Related Disabilities program through Institute for Community Inclusion. During my time there I was fortunate to work with a large, diverse population with varying levels of complexity and need which allowed me to refine my diagnostic skills.

While my heart lies within the pediatric populations, I am excited to serve all of Maine and share my passion for self-advocacy in patients and families who have hearing loss.

Outside of work I enjoy hiking, cooking, spending time with family and am particularly looking forward to exploring all that the Portland area has to offer.
