My name is Tim Baum and I have been practicing primary care internal medicine in greater Portland, Maine since 1987. I continue to teach at the Maine Medical Center as an attending physician for the medical students, interns, and residents on the internal medicine residency program.

Living and working in southern Maine has been a wonderful pleasure for me. My wife, Diane, and I are blessed with four kids who are becoming successful young adults.

I am fortunate to be part of InterMed, which I believe is the most forward-thinking and patient-centered group practice in northern New England. I truly enjoy my profession and feel honored to serve and treat those who put their trust in me.
