Menopause can affect much more than one part of your health - and no two experiences are exactly alike.

 

Opening in January 2027, InterMed’s Menopause Clinic will be Maine’s first physician-led and operated menopause clinic, offering patients a specialized resource for navigating menopause with thoughtful, individualized support. Whether you’re looking for help understanding your symptoms, considering hormone therapy, or need more specialized support, our team will work with you to develop a plan that fits your health history, needs, and goals.

Referrals open October 1, 2026.

Depending on your insurance coverage, you may be able to access the Menopause Clinic through:

  • A referral from an InterMed provider

  • A referral from a provider outside InterMed

  • Self-referral

  • Online self-scheduling

Meet Dr. Robin Noble

Dr. Noble will lead care at InterMed’s Menopause Clinic.

Robin Noble, MD, MSCP has been caring for patients at InterMed for more than 25 years with a special focus on menopause, hormone therapy, sexual health, preventive care, and healthy aging. Board-certified in Ob-Gyn and lifestyle medicine, Dr. Noble is also a certified menopause provider through the North American Menopause Society and serves on the Board of Directors of Let’s Talk Menopause.

 

Dr. Noble's approach is rooted in partnership: helping patients understand their options, make informed decisions, and develop a care plan that reflects their individual health needs and goals.

 

Is the Menopause Clinic right for me?

Many menopause-related concerns can be managed by a primary care provider or gynecologist. The Menopause Clinic offers an additional resource when symptoms, treatment decisions, or hormone replacement therapy needs are more complex.

 

You may benefit from a consultation if you’re looking for:

  • Additional support managing menopause-related symptoms
  • Guidance around hormone replacement therapy
  • A more individualized evaluation of your symptoms and treatment options
  • Specialized input for more complex menopause-related concerns

A conversation about your health

Your first visit will focus on your symptoms, medical history, concerns and goals.

A personalized care plan

Together, you and your provider will discuss your options and develop an individualized plan, with follow-up as needed.

Care that stays connected

The Menopause Clinic is designed to work alongside your existing care team. For many patients, ongoing care will transition back to their primary care provider or gynecologist with recommendations from the clinic. Patients with more complex needs may continue care with the Menopause Clinic.
