My name is Alison Daigle, and I'm a board-certified neurologist with a special interest in neuroimmunology and multiple sclerosis.

I was born and raised in Maine and remained here to study at Bates College, where I earned my B.S. in Biochemistry. Afterward, I spent several years working at a school for children with autism. Medical school brought me to LECOM in Erie, PA, but I returned to New England to complete my neurology residency and MS fellowship at Brown University. I made my way back to Maine in 2016 and had the opportunity to practice at a community hospital in central Maine, where I was able to care for patients with a variety of neurological disorders.

I find neurology to be a captivating specialty where I can develop long-term relationships with patients and their families, creating a team approach to navigate the complexity of conditions and diagnoses. I look forward to continuing to build and provide resources for the patients in our community as I join the team at InterMed Neurology.

Outside of work, I enjoy all the outdoor activities that Maine’s seasons have to offer. Family and friends are also a huge part of my life.
