My name is Amanda Myers and I am a board-certified nurse practitioner specializing in occupational health.

Originally from the Washington DC area, I completed my undergraduate work at the University of Colorado in Boulder and graduate work in public health at Tulane University and advanced practice nursing at the University of Southern Maine. I moved to Maine in 1996, drawn by the mountains, woods, and ocean.

Prior to joining InterMed, I worked as a primary care provider at a federally qualified community health center in rural Maine. I had the opportunity to learn from exceptional colleagues and mentors who shaped my approach to patient care. I joined InterMed in 2008 where I specialize in occupational medicine.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time outdoors with my family and dog, long walks in the woods and beaches of Maine, live music, and playing with clay (I’m new to ceramics and loving it!) I also enjoy travel, reading and good food.
