My name is Amy Bonville, and I am a board- certified family nurse practitioner.
Born, raised and educated in Maine, I received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1993 and a master’s degree in advanced practice nursing in 2012, each from the University of Southern Maine.
Prior to receiving my master’s degree, I worked for nearly 20 years as a registered nurse and had the privilege of working in multiple settings including: geriatrics, community health, pediatric/adult medical surgical, family practice and education.
My work as a nurse practitioner has included family practice, occupational medicine and currently, urgent care. I am proud to be a part of the InterMed “family” and am lucky to have the unique experience of working in onsite services, healthcare delivered onsite, to employees of Maine-based companies.
It allows me, as a provider, to bring services to the patient, to treat illness while promoting health and wellness, in a safe, private setting all while offering convenience to the employee.
When I am not working, I can be found homesteading with my husband and multiple critters on lovely Chebeague Island in Casco Bay. Proud to be part of a small community, committed to my neighbors and their well-being, I volunteer as an EMT in my free time.
