My name is Amy Parker, and I am excited to begin working in urgent care at InterMed. 

 

I have worked as an emergency medicine doctor in Lewiston for the past 15 years. I attended the University of Chicago for my undergraduate degree and then the University of Vermont for medical school. I moved to Maine during my second year of medical school and did my residency training in emergency medicine at Maine Medical Center.

 

I have loved living in Maine for the past 20 years. My husband is a cardiologist, and we have three children — one in elementary, one in middle and one in high school! We feel very lucky that we are raising our kids here. I am also looking forward to being at InterMed and seeing patients in a new setting.
