Dr. Andrés Abreu obtained his medical degree from Weill Cornell Medical College in New York City and completed his psychiatry residency at Maine Medical Center in Portland, Maine. Dr. Abreu also received fellowship training in psychodynamic psychotherapy at the Austen Riggs Center in Stockbridge, Massachusetts. His practice focuses on the biological, psychological, and social contributors to complex psychiatric problems. His hobbies include hiking, birding, snorkeling, cross-country skiing (classic), and playing bocce ball.
