My name is Aura Russell-Bedder, and I've been practicing as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Maine for twenty years. I have worked with populations ranging from young children to adults at end of life. I completed my education in the mid-west and on the west coast, but always knew I'd return to the beauty of Maine, where I grew up, to settle down.



I'm happy to now be based in OB/GYN, focused on supporting patients on their journeys through infertility,pregnancy, and navigating the post-partum period. As a Collaborative Care social worker, I enjoy being part of a team that includes the patient, the OB/GYN provider or PCP, the psychiatry provider, and myself, the Care Manager. In developing a shared care plan, we're able to focus on patient goals, and measure progress over the course of treatment. We can be responsive and change course if patients aren't experiencing improvement.



I am humbled to be able to do the work I do every day, and strive to offer a safe place for people to feel understood and supported in their growth.
