Bayleigh Isherwood, FNP-C

My name is Bayleigh Isherwood, and I am a board-certified family nurse practitioner.

After a few years in Boston studying physical therapy, I found myself back in my home state, graduating with a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology from the University of Maine Orono. I worked in healthcare for a few years before returning to graduate school where I received my master’s in nursing from the University of Southern Maine.

My background includes women’s health and geriatrics, both of which have contributed to my love of family practice, a specialty where I can partner with patients in all stages of life to create an individualized plan for health.

It’s a privilege to be able to form lasting relationships with patients and be able to support them through their various healthcare needs.

When I’m not at InterMed, you can find me enjoying the Portland food scene, kayaking at the lake, struggling to learn how to ski, watching the Patriots or hanging with my dog, Lenny.
