I entered medicine with a simple goal: to help people. Twenty years after applying to medical school, that passion is still at the heart of everything I do.

Originally from Oklahoma, I pursued my undergraduate, graduate, and medical education at universities in my home state. My husband and I then made the move to Maine, where I completed my Ob-Gyn training at Maine Medical Center. We came to love Maine and wanted to raise our family here.

After completing advanced fellowship training in Urogynecology at Massachusetts General Hospital, we returned to southern Maine, where I’ve been fortunate to care for patients ever since. After eight years of balancing clinical care with academic and administrative responsibilities at Maine Health, I decided to focus on what I love most: working closely with my patients to improve their health and quality of life. From managing overactive bladder with lifestyle changes or medication to performing surgery for uterovaginal prolapse, I find great fulfillment in partnering with my patients to identify the best solutions for their conditions. I’m excited to bring Urogynecology services to InterMed and continue making a positive impact on my patients’ lives.

When I’m not at work, you’ll find me spending time with my husband, our three children, and two dogs. We love to be outdoors, enjoying all that Maine has to offer and keeping up with the boundless energy of our kids!
