I am thrilled to join the Internal Medicine team at InterMed! For the past 7.5 years, I have practiced as a Family Nurse Practitioner in Kennebunk, Maine. My journey into healthcare wasn't direct, but I've always been drawn to helping people advocate for, care for, and empower themselves.

This passion for healthcare was solidified during a life-changing trip to Haiti, where I worked at a small clinic and orphanage in a mountain village through a Global Health course. That experience inspired me to pursue a career where I could make a tangible difference in people's lives. I earned my undergraduate degree in Psychology from Simmons College in Boston, MA, and later completed my Master's in Nursing and Family Nurse Practitioner degree through the University of Southern Maine in Portland.

For me, the most rewarding part of being a nurse practitioner is building trusting relationships with my patients. I strive to provide patient-centered care by truly listening to each individual's unique story and health history. It's a privilege to empower my patients to overcome obstacles and care for themselves through knowledge, tools, and support.

At InterMed, I'm excited to be part of a collaborative and integrative team that values integrity, respect, and support for both colleagues and patients. Together, we can create a positive environment where our patients and healthcare teams thrive.

When I'm not working, I love spending time with my close-knit family, my partner, and our lovable dog, Max. As a Maine native, I enjoy the outdoors—hiking, biking, snowshoeing, and especially being on the water. I'm also an avid participant in the Tri for a Cure Sprint Triathlon, and this year marks my first solo completion! My love for travel fuels a growing bucket list of destinations I can't wait to explore.
