I am both honored and proud to have joined the Neurology department here at InterMed as a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. My interest and passion for science have flourished since transitioning from Internal Medicine to Neurology (science is cool!). I have found it incredibly rewarding to treat the disorders we identify and manage here, particularly headaches and migraines. The camaraderie and efficiency of our growing team have me excited for our future.

In contrast, looking at my past, I started my college career with the intent of becoming a teacher. After completing a semester of student teaching in a kindergarten classroom followed by the birth of my first daughter, I realized medicine was my calling. I switched my major and graduated with an undergraduate degree in Biology at the University of Southern Maine. At the same time I started earning a nursing degree from Southern Maine Community College which I completed in 2014. After several years in Emergency Medicine as a Registered Nurse I pursued graduate school and attended Rivier University in New Hampshire, completing my Master of Science in Nursing in 2022.I joined InterMed Internal Medicine in 2022 before transitioning to my current role in early 2025.

Outside of work I am a lifelong Mainer, raising three active, beautiful children and our goldendoodle, Ruby. As a family we enjoy Sea Dogs games, team sports (volleyball, football, baseball, soccer and softball), golfing, skiing/snowboarding, and visiting with friends and family. We often stay at our camp in Eustis and spend summers at our generational camp in Maidstone, VT. Individually, I enjoy any type of game night, particularly trivia (a nerd at heart), exercising, renovating our home and cooking.
