Growing up playing sports and leading an active lifestyle, I experienced my own share of injuries, which helped draw me to physical therapy. I knew it was a great fit for me, and I haven't looked back.
I have been practicing physical therapy since 2014 and became a Board-Certified Specialist in Orthopedics in 2017. My background also includes specialized training in the Management of the Fitness Athlete, and I enjoy working with athletes across a variety of training environments, including CrossFit, HYROX, and other functional fitness programs. I find it especially rewarding to build relationships with patients and help them return to the activities, sports, and fitness goals that are important to them.
I enjoy being a part of InterMed because of its team-oriented culture and the opportunity to collaborate closely with the Sports Medicine team. I first came to Maine to pursue my Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at the University of New England, where I met my wife, who is originally from Scarborough and also a physical therapist. After beginning our careers in Virginia, we returned to Maine in 2018 and have enjoyed making it home.
Outside of work, I enjoy working on my own fitness, hiking, camping, traveling, and exploring new places. I also love spending time with family and friends, relaxing at the beach, cooking on the smoker, and experiencing the great restaurants around Portland.
