I began my career as a firefighter in Wyoming and Montana, where emergency response sparked my interest in medicine. During medical school in New Orleans, I was drawn to pain management and the opportunity to provide life-changing relief for patients.
As an interventional pain physician, I help people navigate the complexity of chronic pain. Understanding each person’s unique story is essential. By listening closely and building connection and trust, I strive to form the patient-physician partnership necessary for meaningful care. Through education, proven therapies, and targeted interventions, I work together with my patients to uncover and treat the root causes of their pain, improve function, and foster long-term independence.
My wife is an occupational therapist and grew up in the Portland area. We are blessed to be able to raise our young twins near family, where we enjoy the ocean, lakes and mountains of Maine.
