My name is Danielle Griffin, and I have been practicing medicine since graduating from medical school in 2021. I completed both medical school and my residency in Little Rock, Arkansas, at UAMS, before moving to Portland, Oregon, for fellowship training in endocrinology at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU). From there, I joined InterMed.
I decided to pursue endocrinology after several years as an internal medicine physician, drawn in by the complex physiology of endocrine disorders and the deep opportunity to help patients. Endocrine conditions are often under-recognized and undertreated, and I'm grateful for the chance to help patients with these diagnoses reclaim a better quality of life.
Although I'd never lived on the East Coast, I always intended to move there after finishing my training — and after visiting Portland, Maine, I fell in love with this beautiful, vibrant city (my second Portland, as it turns out). Meeting the team at InterMed sealed the decision: their passion for patient care and their love for this city were impossible not to notice. As a physician-owned and physician-run practice, InterMed keeps premium patient care at the center of its mission, and I'm proud to be part of that.
