Hi! My name is Emma Chamberlain, and I am a board-certified physician assistant. I completed my undergraduate studies at the College of Charleston and earned my Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies in Savannah, Georgia. I am grateful for the opportunity to practice in Maine and look forward to becoming part of the community.
I have always been drawn to medicine because of the meaningful connections it creates — getting to know patients, understanding their concerns, and supporting them through different stages of life. I chose family medicine because it allows me to combine evidence-based care with ongoing patient relationships. I strive to create an environment where people feel heard, respected, and empowered to participate in their own health decisions.
I am thrilled to join InterMed because of its strong reputation for patient-centered care and collaborative, team-based practice. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time outdoors, exploring local food and coffee spots, antiquing, and being with my two cats. I look forward to serving the Maine community and contributing to high-quality, compassionate care.
