My name is Eric Sampson, and I am a board-certified emergency physician.
I grew up north of Boston and completed my undergraduate and medical education in Massachusetts before discovering Maine during a student rotation in Portland.
After completing my residency at Maine Medical Center in 2003, I spent a year working in Massachusetts before returning to the wonderful state of Maine. Since that time, I have been practicing medicine in the busy emergency departments of southern Maine. I am excited to join the staff of InterMed and work hard to provide excellent care for my patients.
When not at work I enjoy spending time with my wife and two boys. We can frequently be found enjoying sports together, boating and striper fishing. I am also a self-taught woodworker and, while not an expert by any stretch, value the time I get in my shop to advance my skills.
