American Physical Therapy Association Orthopedics Section
My name is Greg Mills, and I have been practicing physical therapy in Southern Maine since 2021.
Physical therapy became a personal passion for me after watching my parents navigate musculoskeletal challenges related to autoimmune diseases, including rheumatoid arthritis and lupus. Having also been a physical therapy patient myself at different points in my life, I experienced firsthand the relief and improved quality of life that physical therapy can provide. Those experiences inspired me to pursue a career in orthopedic physical therapy and dedicate my work to helping others overcome pain and return to the activities that matter most to them.
The most rewarding part of my job is seeing patients regain function, confidence, and the ability to get back to doing what they love - whether that means returning to everyday activities, or recreational pursuits. To further enhance the care I provide, I completed orthopedic residency training and earned a board specialization in orthopedics. I value building strong relationships with patients and working collaboratively to help them reach their goals as efficiently and effectively as possible.
I am excited to be part of InterMed because of its integrated approach to care and strong collaboration between providers across specialties. Having services and specialties under one roof allows for excellent communication and a smoother experience for patients. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my wife, son, and dog, boating on Sebago Lake and Casco Bay with family, grilling on my charcoal grill, and weightlifting.
