My name is Karen Heard. I am an internist, a specialist in adult medicine.

I grew up in Kentucky, went to school in Tennessee and did my internal medicine residency in Seattle. I practiced medicine in Indiana for many years. More recently, my husband’s job brought us to Philadelphia for a few years and now to Maine.

I enjoy getting to know my patients and their families. I like working together to help patients be as healthy as possible.

When I am not working, I enjoy outdoor activities with my husband and my dog.
