Credentials

I am a certified rehabilitation counselor working onsite at L.L.Bean as part of the team at InterMed Workplace Health.

I grew up in New Jersey and came to Maine to earn a bachelor’s degree from the University of Maine, primarily because it was close to Sugarloaf. After college I started my first career as a professional ski bum in Breckenridge Colorado. It became clear that counseling was a better long term fit so, I returned to school and earned a Master of Science in Counseling with a concentration in Rehabilitation Counseling from the University of Southern Maine.

I have been a licensed clinical professional counselor since 2009 and a certified rehabilitation counselor since 2008.

Prior to joining InterMed’s team at L.L.Bean, I worked in both public and private practice. As a counselor, I am in a unique situation to help our clients’ employees continue working in some capacity as they recover from injuries or other medical issues. This lends itself to rewarding work with observable positive outcomes.

I appreciate that our clients are committed to making their workplaces safe and healthy environments for their employees.

When I’m not at work, I spend as much time as I can in the outdoors with my husband and our two children. We particularly enjoy spending time on the lake in the summer and skiing in the winter.
