I have been working as a PA for 20 years. I started out in primary care, then spent 10 years working in urgent care, and have been working in ENT for the last 3 years. I have always wanted to practice medicine because I genuinely enjoy working with people to find solutions to their concerns. In medicine, there is always an opportunity for growth. You are always learning.
I moved to Maine 22 years ago, just after getting married, to pursue my graduate degree, and 3 kids later we are still here. Both my husband and I have many fond childhood memories of Maine and the great outdoors, and now our children do too. We love skiing, hiking, fishing, and kayaking and paddle boarding. Every season offers its own outdoor adventures.
I have enjoyed being part of the InterMed team, as it truly feels like a team.
