We are currently experiencing a technical issue that is impacting our ability to receive faxes. As a result, clinical documentation and prescription requests sent via fax may not be received. Our team is actively working to resolve the issue as quickly as possible, though we do not yet have an estimated time for resolution. In the meantime, we encourage patients to use the patient portal for prescription refill requests or to call your primary care provider for any urgent needs. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding as we work to restore our systems.

I grew up on an organic farm in Washington State, providing food for families in our community. Thinking about the health of families has been part of me since a young age and becoming a family medicine doctor seemed a natural outgrowth of that.

To me, the magic of family medicine is being able to care for an entire family, through all ages and stages of life. With my training in obstetrics, I can be the doctor for a woman before she gets pregnant, during her pregnancy, deliver the baby and then go on to care for both that mother and child in the years following. There are many situations where the health of the mother and child must be considered together, and I feel so lucky that I can be the doctor in those situations. It is a privilege and a joy!

I am thrilled to be joining a dynamite group of doctors in family medicine with obstetrics (FMOB), especially during a time of exciting change as InterMed works to provide a multi-disciplinary team for women’s health. As a resident, I worked with the FMOB, Ob-Gyn, and certified nurse-midwives (CNM) providers all on the labor and delivery floor at Maine Medical Center, and I can honestly say that I am so lucky to now be able to call them colleagues.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my two girls, husband and dog. Since moving out to Maine from Washington State for residency, we have so enjoyed exploring the Northeast and look forward to continuing. Next on the list is Baxter State Park!
