Getting to know my patients and joining them on their health journeys are some of my favorite parts of my work. The opportunity to do this alongside InterMed’s team of bright, dedicated healthcare professionals right in my hometown of Yarmouth makes this my ideal job!
I grew up on Mt. Desert Island and pursued my education out of state. After graduating from Brown University and earning my medical degree from Pennsylvania State University, I was delighted to return home to Maine for my family medicine residency at Maine Medical Center in Portland. My practice of family medicine is informed by the unique path of my full life’s journey.
After eight years of professional practice, I took a break from medicine to raise my four children, run our small family farm in Yarmouth and witness the deaths of both family and friends. Now an empty-nester and having re-certified as a board-certified family medicine physician, I am thrilled to be entrusted with your care.
When I’m not at work, you will find me traveling, hiking, skiing, boating, gardening or in the kitchen cooking using our wonderful, locally grown and raised food.
