I am a board-certified family physician and Menopause Society Certified Practitioner (MSCP) through the The Menopause Society, with advanced expertise in menopause and midlife women’s health.

I grew up in Austria, Belgium, Mexico, and Vermont. These experiences shaped my appreciation for community, culture, and the many ways families define health and well-being.

After attending college in Massachusetts and working at the University of Vermont, I moved to Maine to attend medical school at the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Following residency at the University of Pennsylvania, I completed a Hospice and Palliative Medicine Fellowship at Wake Forest University School of Medicine. I then served as faculty in a family medicine residency program in Philadelphia, practicing full-scope family medicine with a focus on family planning, obstetrics, and women’s health, while teaching medical students and residents. During three years in North Carolina, I practiced geriatric primary care in addition to hospice and palliative medicine.

In my current practice, I care for patients across all stages of life, with a particular focus on women navigating perimenopause and menopause. I believe deeply in evidence-based care, thoughtful listening, and shared decision-making. My approach blends scientific rigor with attention to the psychosocial dimensions of health, with an emphasis on prevention, well-being, and whole-person care.

I currently teach Tufts University School of Medicine students and remain committed to medical education and mentoring the next generation of physicians.

I love living in Yarmouth with my husband, Brian, and our three daughters. In our free time, you’ll find us exploring Maine’s beaches, hiking, skiing, cooking, gardening, and listening to music.
