My name is Megan Driscoll, and I am thrilled to be joining the InterMed family medicine team at the 100 Foden Road practice in South Portland.

Originally from Connecticut, I attended Brown University and then graduated from the University of Connecticut Medical School. After completing my residency in Denver, Colorado, I returned to the Northeast to be near family and friends as my husband and I were starting our own family. We moved to Maine 23 years ago, and it has been a wonderful place to raise our two daughters.

I was drawn to family medicine because it allows me to get to know my patients and their family members in meaningful ways over their lifespan. It puts me in close partnership with them, working toward achieving and improving their health. Being a family doctor has enabled me to combine the art and science of medicine in a very fulfilling way.

I have been privileged to work in southern Maine for the last 23 years as a family doctor and am particularly excited to join InterMed as an independent, physician-owned and managed practice that prioritizes primary care.

When I am not working, I love to ski, hike, travel, read, and spend time outdoors with my family and dogs.
