I was born in Philadelphia but grew up on the South Shore of Boston. I first made my way up to Maine in 2011 to go to Bates College. My partner and I both went to Bates but didn’t meet until after college on a ski trip at Sunday River with mutual friends.
After graduating from Bates, I got to work with rock star thoracic oncology nurse practitioners at Massachusetts General Hospital which solidified my decision to go into medicine and become a nurse practitioner. I completed my NP degree at Vanderbilt University and moved back to Boston after graduation.
I started my nurse practitioner career with the wonderful Steward Medical Internal Medicine group and found I love educating and empowering patients to better understand their health and long-term health goals.
We moved back to Maine for my partner to attend medical school at the University of New England and are so excited to be back. In my free time, I love being active, checking out new restaurants, going to breweries and concerts as well as hanging out with our lab, Salsa.
