My name is Nate Bankoff, and I am proud to be part of the Family Medicine team at InterMed.
I grew up on the North Shore of Massachusetts and attended Tufts University for both college and medical school. As a medical student at Tufts, I had the opportunity to complete some of my clinical rotations at Maine Medical Center. I was then fortunate enough to stay in Maine to complete my family medicine residency training.
Working as a family medicine trained primary care physician is incredibly rewarding. I enjoy taking care of patients of all ages, developing long-term relationships with individuals and their families and partnering with them to optimize health and quality of life.
I am a firm believer in preventative medicine and I enjoy taking an individualized approach to help patients get healthy and stay healthy.
Outside of work, I enjoy staying active by running and playing baseball, basketball and tennis. I also love to travel, throughout our beautiful state and beyond. I am happiest when spending quality time with my wife, family and friends.
