My name is Rachel Petracca, and I am a nurse practitioner who previously worked as a staff nurse at a Community Health Center in Boston. I am a New Englander through and through -- born in Massachusetts, raised in Maine and most recently lived in Connecticut.
My studies began in psychology with a strong interest in sexual and interpersonal relationships and have since morphed into my passion for all-encompassing Ob-Gyn healthcare. My main interests lie in infertility, post-partum period, contraception and safe sexual health practices.
I love the social aspect of being a healthcare provider; especially developing relationships with and being able to empower and advocate for my patients. I live in Portland with my husband, golden retriever, and young kids. You can find us boating in the Lakes Region during the summer and skiing/snowboarding in the mountains during the winter. We are excited to be back in Portland to enjoy the amazing restaurant scene.
