My name is Saffron Homayoun and I am proud to have been working at InterMed since the fall of 2025. I have been enjoying living in Maine for the past 4 years, and taking advantage of all the wonderful nature on offer here in my spare time.

 

I'm from the UK where I completed my undergraduate and medical school training and chose to specialize in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the Maudsley Program in London for my Residency and Fellowship. I am a strong advocate for prioritizing mental as well and physical health and acknowledging the inextricable links between the two, as well as recognizing the importance of a person's social and psychological background in my approach to assessment and treatment.
