We are currently experiencing a technical issue that is impacting our ability to receive faxes. As a result, clinical documentation and prescription requests sent via fax may not be received. Our team is actively working to resolve the issue as quickly as possible, though we do not yet have an estimated time for resolution. In the meantime, we encourage patients to use the patient portal for prescription refill requests or to call your primary care provider for any urgent needs. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding as we work to restore our systems.

My name is Samantha Reid, and I am a physical therapist at InterMed's Foden Road location. The most rewarding part of the job is helping others reach their goals and get back to doing what they love.
I am a Massachusetts native and came to Maine to play soccer at the University of New England. After obtaining a degree in applied exercise science, I continued at UNE and received my doctorate of physical therapy in 2013. I later completed an orthopedic physical therapy residency program with Select Medical in 2017. I’ve spent my career treating in the orthopedic setting and am excited to be part of the InterMed team.
I enjoy treating all orthopedic conditions but also have a special interest in concussion management. My goal is to specialize each PT session to match the presentation and goals of each individual patient.
When I’m not at work, I enjoy being outdoors skiing, mountain biking, running, playing golf or pursuing weekend adventures with friends and family. I am also a girls head coach for the Maine Lightning Soccer Club.
