I was born and raised in the suburbs of Boston. I attended Harvard College, where I graduated with high honors in Molecular and Cellular Biology. I went on to medical school at Johns Hopkins University and completed my General Surgery residency at the University of Colorado. I began my surgical career in private practice in Olympia, Washington, and later returned to New England to join the InterMed team.
I perform a wide range of general surgery procedures, including gallbladder and appendix removal, inguinal and ventral hernia repair, complex abdominal wall reconstruction, small intestine and colon resection, hiatal hernia repair, and excision of soft tissue masses and lymph nodes. Most abdominal procedures are performed using minimally invasive laparoscopic or robotic techniques. I take pride in tailoring each surgical plan to the individual patient to achieve the best and most durable outcome.
I am certified by the American Board of Surgery and am a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. I would be honored to assist in your care.
