My journey into medicine began when I supported a loved one through a cancer diagnosis and treatment. Being part of that experience opened my eyes to the profound impact that compassionate, knowledgeable care can have—not just on patients, but on their families as well. It inspired me to pursue a career where I could offer that same kind of support during some of the most vulnerable moments in people’s lives.
The most rewarding part of my job is getting to know my patients and building relationships that go beyond the exam room. I take the time to understand each person’s concerns, lifestyle, and goals so we can work together to find treatment options that truly fit their needs. Seeing the positive difference this makes in someone’s health and confidence is incredibly fulfilling.
I’m excited to be part of InterMed’s dermatology team and to contribute to a practice that prioritizes patient-centered care and clinical excellence. I’m especially looking forward to building meaningful connections with patients and collaborating with colleagues in such a supportive environment.
When I’m not at work, you’ll usually find me out on the trails enjoying Maine’s natural beauty, practicing yoga, or spending time with my family and my dog, Gilly—whether we’re on an outdoor adventure or just relaxing at home.
