My name is Shashi Tewari Panozzo, and I am so excited to be joining the Family Medicine team in Yarmouth.
I was born in New Jersey and raised in Springfield, Illinois. Because of my education I was fortunate to have lived in many different places which has enriched me in many ways.
After receiving my master's in public health, I felt inspired to work in a clinic in an under-served area which originally brought me to work in Lewiston. Though it saddens me to leave, I am so excited to bring my 10 years of experience to provide care in the community where I live and raise my family.
I truly enjoy getting to know my patients and creating caring relationships with them and their families. I have learned that every patient and their family are different with their own unique needs. I work with my patients to make decisions together based on clinical evidence that balances patient preferences and values.
I have a strong interest in nutrition and preventative medicine. Exercise and yoga are important to me. I love to be active especially outdoors.
When I am not at work you can find me with my two daughters and my husband exploring all the beauty Maine has to offer.
