I was born and raised in the White Mountains of New Hampshire.
After graduating from the Faculty of Medicine at McGill University, I completed my residency in family medicine at Maine Medical Center. I have been a board-certified family physician since 1988, and have been working in Yarmouth ever since. I am also a clinical instructor at MMC Tufts School of Medicine, where I serve as a medical student mentor and preceptor.
My major clinical interest is longitudinal care — following patients and their families over time, often caring for several generations of a family. I feel very fortunate to have cared for many outstanding Mainers, and look forward to doing so in the future. Other medical interests include patient centered care, and patient care from a medical-legal perspective.
My wife and I have two outstanding (of course) grown children and one outstanding (of course) grandchild. I enjoy music and outdoor activities.
