What can I expect during my appointment?
Respiratory therapy provides spirometry testing to assess your lung function, respiratory device instruction and education, symptom management and customized support to empower you to breathe better.
How can respiratory education help me manage my asthma or COPD?
The more you know about asthma or COPD the better you can manage it. Education gives you the tools to recognize symptoms early, avoid triggers use medication properly and stay healthier longer.
Asthma Education: Learn how to manage your asthma with confidence. We provide education to patients and families on identifying and avoiding triggers, inhaler techniques, medication management, and action plans to help prevent and control flare- ups.
COPD Education: We offer hands-on education about medications, inhaler and nebulizer use, breathing techniques, and lifestyle changes. We work with you to build a plan that helps you breathe better and stay active.
