Who Should Get Vaccinated?

In line with recommendations from the CDC and other leading medical organizations, InterMed recommends:

  • Everyone 6 months and older receive an annual flu vaccine.
  • Everyone 6 months and older stay up to date on COVID-19 vaccination.Updated COVID-19 vaccines will be available at InterMed as soon as they are received.

If you have questions about whether vaccination is right for you, please send your provider a secure message through the MyInterMed Patient Portal before your appointment.

What should I bring to my COVID-19 vaccine appointment?

  • Your insurance card or Traditional Medicare ID  (the red, white and blue card).

    • Contact your health insurance provider to learn how your plan covers COVID vaccine and vaccine administration fees.

  • Your EpiPen if you typically carry one.

What should I bring to my flu vaccine appointment?

  • Your insurance card.
