InterMed’s Ob-Gyn surgeons provide advanced surgical care with a focus on safety, precision, and a smooth recovery. Procedures are performed at our co-located Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) as well as at Maine Medical Center’s Bramhall and Scarborough campuses, giving you access to high-quality care in the setting that’s right for you.
We offer minimally invasive techniques, including robotic-assisted surgery, whenever appropriate.
Surgical Procedures
Our surgeons perform a wide range of gynecologic procedures, including:
- Hysterectomy
- Removal of fallopian tubes (salpingectomy)
- Endometriosis diagnosis and treatment
- Removal of ovarian cysts or ovaries
- Hysteroscopy
- Cervical excision for precancerous changes
