While growing up in Bucksport, Maine, I always knew I wanted to be a physician. I also knew that I wanted to be a physician in Maine.
I completed my undergraduate degree at the University of Maine in Orono. I then attended the University of Vermont College of Medicine, and received my Master of Public Health from Harvard, but knew that I needed to come back home to Maine.
I completed my residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Maine Medical Center and I am thrilled to be an Ob-Gyn physician at InterMed Obstetrics and Gynecology.
It is a privilege for me to care for Maine women. Whether simple or more complex, I enjoy helping women with all of their obstetric or gynecologic concerns. Obstetrics, minimally invasive and robotic surgery and family planning, and contraceptive management are a few of my special interests.
I look forward to continuing my career here in Portland with InterMed Obstetrics and Gynecology.
